Our Services

Kids:

The Kaizen Kids Program was created to provide children ages 6-15 with an amazing environment that allows them to experience and understand core values like focus, discipline, persistence, cooperation, and respect. As a contact sport, Kaizen Jiu-Jitsu provides a challenging yet safe and caring environment for a child to grow into a real-life champion. The outcome of continued childhood practice of Jiu-Jitsu goes beyond just accomplishments on the mats. The discipline and excellence demanded by our instructor often carries over to the child’s behavior at home and at school, creating a positive impact.

Beginners:

Techniques Instruction and Drills (30 – 50 minutes): The primary focus during this session is on demonstrating and instructing Jiu-jitsu techniques or sequences. Once students have mastered a technique and shown it to a partner, they will receive further instruction on additional nuances, set-ups, and finishes for that technique. Subsequently, students will demonstrate the technique with their partner. Advanced: Techniques Instruction and Drills and participation in Sparring Sessions (15 – 30 minutes): During regular rounds, students will begin sparring or rolling with their first partner. If time permits, a player may continue rolling with multiple partners in the gym until the session is completed. This approach helps students learn the art of martial arts in the long run. If a player does not submit throughout the sparring rounds, they will restart until the time limit expires. It is important to note that no points are awarded during these rounds of free sparring.
